Hello–my name is Luna Valentine, though I can be found around the internet alternatively as Ghost. I write each and every article featured here on Metamorphosis, bringing my attention to detail, obsessively analytical mind, and love of prose fiction and poetry into my style.

I have always been sucked in by the great gravitational pull of fashion. All of my undertakings as an artist, a beauty professional, and a writer are heavily inspired by the fashion industry in all of its facets. Making the jump from artist to makeup artist was natural–while the work you see on this blog is usually done in eyeshadow and lipstick on skin, I still work in acrylic and ink on paper. Examples of new paintings sometimes find their way onto this blog, as it is primarily a fashion/cosmetics blog but does contain some lifestyle articles.

I operate out of the New York Metropolitan area, where I also live with my family and army of furry, scaly, and feathered friends.
